Support Worker

Oxford Care Services is seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Workers to work across health and social care settings.

You will provide respectful, person-centred support that helps individuals remain safe, independent and involved in decisions about their lives. Roles may be available in supported living, residential care and community services.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver compassionate, person-centred care and support.
* Promote dignity, independence, choice and inclusion.
* Assist with personal care, mobility, meals and daily activities.
* Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
* Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
* Report changes in a person’s health or wellbeing.
* Support medication only when trained and authorised.
* Follow safeguarding, infection prevention and safety procedures.

kills and Qualities Required

Previous care experience is desirable, although training may be available for suitable candidates. Applicants should demonstrate:

* A caring, patient and respectful approach.
* Good communication and listening skills.
* Reliability, flexibility and professional conduct.
* The ability to work independently and within a team.
* The right to work in the United Kingdom.

A UK driving licence may be desirable for some community-based assignments.
